Grand four-day PTC Asia 2009 held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre has been successfully concluded on October 29, 2009. From 27 countries and regions, 1,307 well-known enterprises at home and abroad gathered in the exhibition to demonstrate technical excellence. The space area reached a new record with 71,000 square meters increased by 6%, meanwhile 47,330 visitors coming from more than 50 countries and regions, making PTC a large-scale and specialized industrial event. It not only provided exhibitors an excellent platform for all-round displaying opportunity but also gave a chance for visitors to get well known to the latest products and cutting-edge technology in power transmission field.

In term of the number of exhibitors, exhibition area and technical content of products, PTC Asia 2009 reached a historic record. The most famous companies in power transmission industry presented, such as Bosch Rexroth、STAUFF International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.、Parker Hannifin Motion & Control (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.、Hydac Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.、Hardinge Machine (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.、Beijing Huade Hydraulic Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd.、Yuci Hydraulic Group Co., Ltd.、Zhonghang Liyuan Hydraulic Co., Ltd.、Zhejiang Sunbun Hydraulic Co., Ltd.、China High-Tech Hydraulic Co., Ltd、China Leemin Hydraulic Co., Ltd.、Shanghai Lixin Hydraulic Co., Ltd.. Among them, Bosch Rexroth showed the well-known variable speed pump drive system, providing users innovative technology concepts as well as energy-efficient solutions; as the representative in machine tool industry, even though the first time presenting in PTC, Hardinge showed the high-performance hydraulic equipment which became one of the highlights in PTC.

Crowded High-tech zone in University Pavilion

In response to government’s《Restructuring and Revitalizing Equipment Manufacturing Industry Planning》, PTC Asia 2009 established “ Pavilion for University’s New Technological Achievements”. Although for the first time the introduction of colleges and universities, it became a major highlight of the exhibition. 13 new technology reports were given by 10 institutions in PTC Asia 2009, and received high reputation among exhibitors. This activity provided both exhibitors and visitors a platform for the combination of producing, learning and researching, and opened up a window to learn advanced technology.

The activities held during the exhibition, such as International Fluid Power Sodality, the Cross-Strait Fluid Power Industry Sodality and other symposiums, provided more communication opportunities for insiders.
